Docplanner is fostering the reinvention of product development, specifically transforming how we approach coding with AI. We are looking for an Engineering Director who will lead this transformation from the front lines, while owning the Patient Engagement area.
This isn’t a traditional management role. It’s designed for a leader who remains deeply hands-on in the code and pioneers AI-enabled development practices, with the role intentionally weighted toward Lead Through Code (≈75%) and Drive Transformation & Technical Leadership (≈25%).
You will be a driver of our AI-powered product development transformation, working directly with code, teams, and the wider Engineering community to fundamentally reimagine how we build patient-facing software. This role is for someone who thrives on being deeply technical while driving organizational change through example, influence, and results, as we reinvent the very nature of coding itself.
The scope is meaningful: Patient Engagement initiatives that directly impact how people interact with their healthcare, focusing on engagement, retention, and continuity of care. These aren't just features; they're tools that help real people better manage their health.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing & Revenue Recognition Controller to
join our finance team. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between our Sales operations
and Finance departments, ensuring that every contract is following our policies and standards,
every invoice is accurate, and every cent of revenue is recognized in strict accordance with
accounting standards.
You will have primary ownership over the German market, serving as the "gatekeeper" for
contract integrity and the driver of seamless billing cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Gatekeeping & Sales Collaboration
● Review and approve incoming contracts and Sales Orders to ensure alignment with
company pricing policies and legal requirements.
● Act as the primary point of contact for the Sales team, providing guidance on contract
structuring to ensure "billability."
● Partner with the Revenue Controllership team to ensure everything within contracts is
correct and in accordance with policies.
2. Billing Operations (German Market)
● Manage the end-to-end billing cycle for our German customer base, ensuring local tax
(VAT) compliance and language requirements.
● Resolve billing discrepancies and manage credit memo processes efficiently.
● Maintain accurate customer master data within our ERP and CRM systems.
3. Revenue Recognition & Month-End Close
● Perform monthly revenue recognition procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 /
ASC 606 standards.
● Prepare and post journal entries related to deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and
revenue adjustments.
● Reconcile revenue accounts and provide variance analysis.
● Execute critical Month-End Close activities to ensure financial accuracy and timeline
adherence.
● Run and manage SAP transactions specifically for - Deferred Revenue and Unbilled Revenue calculations,
Intercompany (ICY) reconciliations and postings, Automated and manual Revenue Recognition runs.
● Perform comprehensive Account Reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the GLs.
4. Reporting & Systems Management
● Generate weekly and monthly reports on billing status, aging receivables, and
recognized revenue.
● Utilize and maintain data integrity across our core tech stack (SAP, Salesforce).
● Contribute to the optimization of billing workflows and system automation projects.
Requirements:
Technical Skills & ERP Mastery
● SAP: Advanced proficiency in SAP (FI/CO or SD modules) - SAP 4Hana is preferred.
You should be comfortable navigating complex accounting structures.
● Salesforce (CRM): Experience managing contract terms and tracking customer
lifecycles within the CRM environment.
● MS Office Suite: Strong Excel skills are a must (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and
robust data analysis).
● Google Suite: Fluency in Google Sheets for collaborative reporting and tracking.
Language & Experience
● Language Proficiency: Professional-level fluency in German and English (C1/C2
level) is essential for both local compliance and global reporting. High-level English is
required for collaboration with the German market and international stakeholders.
● Experience: 2+ years in Billing, Revenue Operations, or Financial Controlling with a
"gatekeeping" mindset. Hungarian language can be a plus as this role might include
Hungarian market (smaller part of the portfolio)

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead incident response initiatives and conduct thorough cybersecurity investigations to mitigate risks effectively. You will play a key role in enhancing our security program by refining processes and optimizing tooling to strengthen our overall cybersecurity posture.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced threat detection and mitigation strategies across diverse technology landscapes. Your ability to communicate complex risks and incidents clearly to stakeholders is crucial for maintaining transparency and building trust. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type 2.
This is a global position requiring flexibility with occasional out of hours and weekend work.
Responsibilities:
Helping defining the security operations roadmap by designing and implementing long term strategies
Improve and maintain processes, tooling, documentation and training to mature and enhance cybersecurity incident response
Design, implement and maintain security events monitoring systems
Perform daily alert investigation and incident response in both cloud-native and traditional environments
Identify, scope, and manage ongoing incidents for our customers, developing remediation plans to improve security maturity
Normalize, analyze and identify security events from application logs
Assist our development and operations teams on improving our log monitoring capabilities
Implement threat intelligence feeds and automation
